Character Design

‘A Grave Robbery’ consists of 5 characters, of which I designed four. Most notably were one of our two protagonists - the arrogant air-headed MacPherson - and our antagonist, The Ghaist.

MacPherson is the arrogant loudmouth of our lead duo. A man with only money and greed on his mind, with a total unawareness of the world around him, MacPherson cannot help himself when he catches a glimpse of the glimmering mourning locket around The Ghaist’s neck

The Ghaist seemed to be a peaceful young aristocrat in life, dying too soon from a broken heart after the loss of her lover. When MacPherson and Galbraith disturb her slumber and take her pendant, her spirit is awoken, fuelled by wrath and desperation to be reunited with it.

The Ghaist’s human design, and the Cemetery Watchman. The Watchman may be lacking in much of the eye and age department, but he is a formidable foe for the main duo, with alerting him of their location meaning certain doom.

Storyboarding

‘A Grave Robbery’ is a four minute film. Storyboards for the film were a collaborative effort with Christina Tollin and Evie-Rose Price.
